Oil and Gas training institute to be established

February 16, 2011

A new Oil and Gas training institute is to be established in the country under the auspices of the Harvard Marine International Ghana Limited.

It is to provide skills, training for people to meet the challenges of health safety and environmental standards that regulates the oil and gas industry.

This came to light when the Director of the National Vocational Training Institute, Mr. Stephen Amponash, paid a working visit to the Sigma Base Technical Service Ghana Limited, an oil and gas service institution.

The company is engaged in training 1,500 people in Takoradi for the country’s oil and gas industry.
